Peterborough - Passionettes Quarterly Training - 16th October 2011
This was my first Training Day, and what a day it was. We arrived at the hall in Peterborough to be greeted by lots of happy smiley people!! Monica and Bekka arranged the day and they were both lovely. After the initial cup of tea we all exchanged swaps. My card front swap is pictured, of which I made 40. I came home with a box full of beautiful swaps; so many talented people. In the morning after a Business talk from Monica we then had 3 'Make n takes' to do. I only had time to complete 2 but will be finishing the other this week. In the afternoon we had a talk from Bekka, about earning more from the new catalogue. We then had 2 projects, one was a beautiful handbag envelope album, which I completed and is absolutely gorgeous!! The other project was a scrapbook page, which I shall also complete this week - the design of this could be used in so many ways!! We used the 'Mocha Morning Speciality' papers - brown is not my favourite colour, but after seeing these, I am now converted! It was a fantastic day, I met so many lovely people and came home really shattered!!
